Geoffrey Gilbert lives and has his studio in the college town of Geneva, New York, midway between Rochester and Syracuse. He retired from a 37 year teaching career at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2014, and has been painting full time ever since. He has exhibited in Vermont and New York. His work is held by private collectors in New York, Vermont, Rhode Island, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Florida, Texas, Colorado, and California.
